I think I will make a video of the final set up of the guitar. It isn’t quite the perfect piece I set out to make, but it is far better than anything I have made to date. I will talk about the bother in the video.
Today I evened out and crowned the frets and wired up the push pull volume plus series/parallel control. Lesson of the day….”make the control cavity bigger so you can fit wires in more easily!”.
I have my daughter polishing the frets as we speak, using Crimson Guitar fret rubbers, I highly recommend them. We now wait for the string ferrules, (or sockets if you are American), and we will string it up and set the action and intonation, perhaps, as I say, on camera. Gotta demo the sound!
